2. What are cookies?

Cookies are small files that are stored on or accessed from your device when you visit a website.

We may also use similar technologies, such as local storage, pixels or other technologies that perform comparable functions.

These technologies can be used to make the website function, remember your preferences, understand how the website is used and, where you consent, support analytics and marketing activities.

3. Cookies we use

We may use the following categories of cookies and similar technologies.

Necessary cookies These cookies are required for the website and webshop to function properly. They may, for example, be used to:

• maintain your shopping cart; - process the checkout; - remember your cookie preferences; - provide security and fraud prevention; and - maintain essential website functionality.

Because these cookies are necessary for the operation of the website or a service you request, they do not require your consent where permitted by applicable law.

Analytics cookies Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use the Ascanbe website, for example which pages are visited, how visitors navigate through the website and whether technical errors occur.

Where analytics technologies have more than a limited impact on your privacy or otherwise require consent under applicable law, we will only use them after you have given your consent.

Marketing cookies Marketing cookies and similar technologies may be used to understand the effectiveness of our marketing and, where applicable, to show more relevant advertising.

These technologies may allow Ascanbe and selected third parties to understand interactions with our website across different websites or services.

We will only use marketing or tracking technologies where the required consent has been obtained.

4. Third-party cookies

Some cookies or similar technologies may be provided by third parties whose services we use, such as our e-commerce, payment, analytics or marketing providers.

Our cookie settings provide further information about the cookies and technologies currently in use, including their provider, purpose and duration where applicable.

You can change your cookie preferences or withdraw your consent at any time through the Cookie Settings available on our website.

Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing that took place before your consent was withdrawn.

More information about how Ascanbe processes personal data, your privacy rights and how to exercise them can be found in our Privacy Notice.
